Women currently represent only 2% of the Australian trades workforce. Our goal is to increase female participation to ensure true diversity, inclusiveness and equity are achieved.
Funded by WorkSafe Victoria’s WorkWell Mental Health Improvement Fund, Tradeswomen Australia are piloting an industry-first program designed to prevent mental injuries and improve mental wellbeing automotive and aftersales parts interpreter businesses through preventative strategies, diversity and inclusion.

Australia is experiencing skill shortages in 62 key trade areas*. With the right support from key support networks and industry, these positions could be filled by skilled, strong, capable Tradeswomen.
