Tradeswomen Australia Foundation founder and director Fiona Lawrie today announced the appointment of 6 newly appointed members of the Tradeswomen Australia Strategy Council Marika Van der Klugt, Sandra Boyd, Debbie Reynolds, Nik Mavrommatis, Mark Rademaker and Gary Workman.
“The new members bring an impressive and diverse range of skills, knowledge and a wealth of experiences within gender equality, apprenticeships and traineeship as well as experience within skilled trade environments. They complement the skills, knowledge and experience of our previously appointed members and collectively substantial long-term insights and strategies to support our growth and direction.” Fiona Lawrie
In 2020 the strategic council will be chaired by WHISE CEO & GenVic Chair Kit McMahon.
“This is an incredible group of people – coming together to get behind TWA and to help it realise its mission. We all share a strong commitment to see equity in Australian trades, and, provide more women the opportunities they deserve as well as delivering benefits for industry. This Council builds upon the great work and legacy of the 2019 Strategy Council and will provide advice to the TWA board on how to implement the key goals of its strategy. It is a privilege to support and Chair this group of sector leaders. I know that all of us are proud to be a part of change in the industry and support greater equity in industry.” Kit McMahon
