Jess a Mechanical Fitter

It was a career talk in high school that encouraged Jess to pursue a career in the trade industry. An army officer attended Jess’s school to talk about apprenticeship opportunities, This talk encouraged Jess to apply and she found her self as an apprentice mechanical fitter for the navy. Jess’s trade allowed her to travel to many countries and learn from a diverse range of people. After her career in the navy, Jess changed industries and began working in the Western Australian mining industry. Jess’s story is inspirational as she shares her journey and what it is like to learn all over again and triumph through the challenges of working in a trade.
